We want our international guests to feel welcome and integrated at 360° in the community of Politecnico di Milano.
With this aim, we have developed several services: support to recover all the necessary documents for entry to Italy, together with restoration and accommodation both for professors or researchers and their families.
Politecnico di Milano has a knowledgeable team that supports international professors and researchers who need help in accomplishing all the legal requirements necessary to work and stay in Italy for a long period. This includes a support for obtaining a Nulla Osta for Work, an entry Visa and a residence’s permit.
The University wants to create, promote and maintain the best environment in which the community can study, teach, carry out research and live. Politecnico di Milano provides several dining facilities, including bars, canteens and water dispensers and offers to professors and researchers the opportunity to reserve temporary accommodation at its University residence located in Milan, Lecco and Como, proposing different kind of lodging. Living inside a university residence is not only a housing solution, but an occasion of networking and cultural exchange.
For the International Academic Staff that wishes to bring along their families, Politecnico di Milano gives support in obtaining all legal requirements for each family member too. Moreover, the University offers the opportunity to enroll professors’ children in affiliated nurseries located in Milan at reduced cost, based on family income.
